Meadowlands is the only event where SoCal dispensary owners and cannabis business owners can really connect with the farming community of NorCal by being there and feeling the place in the magic of the redwoods. The second annual Meadowlands retreat, hosted by Meadow, the Y-Combinator startup building point-of-sale software for California dispensaries, took place earlier this month in Mendocino and attracted a who’s who of over 500 of the state’s cannabis business leaders, stakeholders, decision-makers, and regulators. Who wouldn’t want to discuss the future of cannabis over an intimate fireside chat under the stars, with s’mores?

For the second year running, the California cannabis industry converged on the redwoods of Mendocino County to talk all things cannabis with leading industry minds and regulators at Meadowlands 2019. Meadowlands is essentially pot industry summer camp. In a business that has quickly evolved from burying your money so the feds didn’t find it to suits, the event reconnects the world’s fastest growing industry with its roots in the hills of the Emerald Triangle. The weekend is hosted by San Francisco cannabis tech company Meadow at a retrofitted former boy scout camp called Camp Navarro located in an unincorporated community of the same name.

Meadow hits it out of the park with this year's Meadowlands. Every detail of this weekend was thoughtfully executed and certainly did not go unnoticed. Meadow provided a safe space for companies to gather, share and connect. Delicious hot meals for EVERY diet were provided and guests were inspired by panels with all-stars in the industry. Conversations led by leaders in cannabis covered everything from Supply Chain to Regulation to Feminine Leadership to Social Equity.
